Olivia Hermoso is a one-woman show, with all pieces designed, cut, and sewn by me for you.

 

Influenced by my Abuela who was a seamstress and avid sewer in her own time, and my mother who hustled her own small business selling hand-sewn handbags, I was sitting behind (my very own bright purple) sewing machine at age 5.

 

After studying jewellery/metal-smithing and textiles print design, the creation of Olivia Hermoso is a kind of a return to roots for me, as sewing and garment construction has always been a passion.

 

Through my studies and experience, I've discovered how damaging the textiles industry is to our earth, and so I make all pieces at Olivia Hermoso carefully and consciously.

Designed without trends in mind, my classic pieces will enjoy a long life in your closest, you can wear year after year.

 

Hand made to order:

All items are made to order. Creating a special piece just for you. This also allows me to create consciously as no dead stock will ever be created.

 

This allows Olivia Hermoso to be proudly part of the slow fashion movement.
